Is the Great Establishment Media Purge Beginning?

Back in the old Soviet Union, Joseph Stalin
created the “Great Purge” of political repression and persecution
during 1936 to 1938. Stalin was paranoid and very fearful of individuals
he considered enemies of the people and counter-revolutionary because
these dissenters threatened his dictatorial control and authority over
the nation.

It appears the mainstream media
elites in the US may also worry about their future ability to control
public opinion and elections in America. In the last week we have seen
MSNBC, on the left, purge Pat Buchanan from the network and Fox News, on
the right, eliminate power elite.
The first question asked must be: Why now rather than later as, after
all, both men have expressed their anti-establishment views for years
without repercussions?

I believe the answer is the growing power of alternative media and
the successful educational effort of the Ron Paul Campaign, both of
which use the Internet to get their freedom message out. The
establishment media primarily exists to defend the establishment; the
growing readership of alternative news and opinion sites are making
their job increasingly difficult. When you add in the growing numbers of
Paul Campaign supporters who appear to now be effectively immune to the
power elite propaganda, the media elites have a real problem.
Today’s Media Establishment is an Anachronism and Relic of the Past

Throughout the heyday of print media and radio and recently, even
cable news, the job of the press has been to manipulate and control
public opinion as well as voting blocks. The elites bought and
controlled most media outlets and developed and promoted a controlled
political opposition, on both the left and the right, that allowed them
to set the parameters for discussion and debate. America has effectively
been a one-party state for 100 years with power elites controlling the
major political parties using American-style democracy both as their cover and to convey legitimacy of their behind-the-scenes rule.

The real battle today is not the ongoing GOP presidential primary;
rather, it is the media elites opposing the Ron Paul Campaign and
alternative, Internet-based media where growing numbers of Americans are
getting news and information to form their opinions.

This year’s the run-of-the-mill campaigns by all of the GOP
presidential candidates other than Ron Paul and their rhetoric are
nothing new; it has been the same old story and false paradigm on
display every four years for almost 100 years. Our legitimate
government and rule by the people was overthrown in 1913 by banking
interests who created the Federal Reserve and Federal Income Tax.
Ron Paul has Brilliantly Turned the Tables on the Political Establishment

Paul’s campaign is using the closed two-party control structure and
their media gatekeepers, previously utilized to control public opinion
and elections, against them. For example, the state presidential primary
and caucus system, televised debates and related campaign news coverage
was formerly a GOP establishment monopoly. Today, thanks to the
Internet it has become the Trojan horse used by Paul’s campaign and
liberty supporters to get inside the closed walls of the GOP to educate
millions of Americans about freedom and free-market ideas.

The establishment news media has been powerless to stop this
infiltration. The real battle in 2012 isn’t the visible political
campaign but rather the hidden impotence of the media elites to protect
establishment control. This is why the media so hates and fears Ron
Paul. His campaign is the new road map for how pro-liberty candidates
and forces, together with the alternative media, can and will eventually
defeat the power elites’ main protectors and gatekeepers, which is the
media establishment.

The February 22nd GOP presidential debate could well have been the
last in this campaign cycle. In fact, it could be the last GOP
presidential debate in your lifetime if future freedom candidates follow
the Ron Paul model of turning a major campaign into an educational
effort against the GOP establishment.

The existing closed political system will not survive another GOP
presidential nomination campaign in which the truths and views of a
major candidate like Ron Paul are repeated in numerous debates night
after night to a voting public armed with Google search and the
alternative media. Traditional campaigns and managed elections with
predetermined outcomes are over as the media establishment can no longer
control the debate, limit information flow and defend the political
establishment.

This 2012 GOP presidential nomination campaign ritual (that actually
began in early 2011) is coming to a close. Historically, presidential
campaigns and the pre-approved chosen-ones battle in the arena of
democracy, with the candidate finally chosen by the false holy sacrament
of democracy through a controlled electoral process, is designed to
convey a measure of legitimacy to those who rule over us and nothing
more. It is pure entertainment, just like the old Roman circuses,
coliseum diversions and free bread during the latter days of the Roman
Empire to calm the public while their empire fell and their wealth and
liberties were destroyed.

Contrary to the lies from rightwing radio, leftwing experts and most
political party hacks and leaders, most elections are fraudulent and a
waste of time for voters. I suggest readers research campaign promises
from Wilson and Roosevelt on keeping us out of war to modern-day
presidents like Bush II, Obama,
etc. and you’ll see their campaign promises are literally never kept.
Yet after each election, the press almost never mentions this fact of
modern-day political life. It is an inside establishment joke and the
job of the establishment press is to protect, defend and advance the
interests of the establishment.
Voting and Campaigns Have Been an Exercise in Futility Since 1913

What has passed as majority rule is nothing more than a deception
forced on manipulated voters, fraud filled voting, caucuses and
primaries and run by insider party elites. This deception has worked
historically because the media establishment has always controlled,
commented on and manufactured public opinion so the power elite
candidates backed financially by big banks, Wall Street and a few
extremely wealthy families could maintain the false illusion of
government by the people.

Yes, the front men and political parties will change places from time
to time so we the people can direct our support or disgust in following
elections but policies change little and the real power elite and
special interests who determine foreign and domestic polices and bail
out their banking friends continue as before.

This is just an every-four-years ritual and deception designed to
convince the citizens that they somehow govern themselves and their
nation. The truth about representative democracy is that this form of
government at a national level, when compared to decentralized
confederation government and/or direct democracy, is the easiest way for
elites to fool voters. It allows politicians to act and legislate
always in their best interests rather than for the good of the nation or
the people.
The 2012 Election Really is Different

This election will not be different because the defeat of Barack
Obama or the election of a Romney, Santorum or Gingrich will change the
direction of the nation. The banks will still get bailed out, the
federal budget will not be balanced and our national debt will continue
to grow, the neocons will still determine foreign policy and the Federal
Reserve will continue to create money out of nothing for a few special
interests and industries.

I believe the 2012 presidential election will be the final death
rattle for the American political, financial and media establishment and
their ability to control the voting public through the news and
opinions used to create public opinion. This is what really makes the
2012 election different.

The growth in alternative media readership, as well as independent
political and economic thought from the Ron Paul Campaign educational
effort, have almost reached the tipping point, thus making the public
control function of the media establishment a lost cause. Adding
together the alternative media readership numbers and Paul’s GOP vote
percentages, primarily from younger voters, spells disaster for the
establishment.

They may hold back the freedom forces for one more national election
but in four more years of Obama or GOP establishment leadership I
forecast the floodgates of political and economic change will burst open
and the liberty revolution will advance on Washington, Wall Street and
the central bank cartel.

The outcome of the 2012 election is difficult to forecast but it is
clear that eventually the media establishment will lose the war!
Notwithstanding the results of the 2012 election and how many
free-market commentators are repressed, banned, blacklisted or fired,
the media elites will lose because of the Internet.

Even if those who rule over us use a false-flag operation like in the
past to create a war or national emergency to control the Internet,
curtail opposition viewpoints and end our liberties and access to
alternative views and news – this will only work for a very short time.

The internet has become a necessity for business and commerce and
today’s global market means real history and the truth about financial
manipulation, central banking cartels, free-market solutions and
political controls will get through their restraints and continue to
challenge the establishment propaganda outlets.

They cannot kill the Internet without destroying the American economy
in a very competitive world. The US is the most important economic host
to these power elite parasites as they benefit from both confiscating
our wealth and enslaving our children as cannon fodder for their wars.

The truth about our history, political system and our own enslavement

demand answers to the questions he put forward in his recent editorial,

The search for answers to his 33 questions about American style
democracy may well set the stage for the restoration of legitimate
government and a free society in the United States. He has given us the
questions to ask and all we need to do is to research, discover and
publicize the answers.

Yes, the establishment will counter-attack and use any means to
remain in power and control but their days are numbered. Like Goebbels
and the Berlin propaganda in early 1945, they can still issue
proclamations, enact decrees and frighten the citizens but soon a large
enough percentage of the electorate will know the truth. The emperor has
no clothes and the rulers as well as the power elites hiding behind the
scenes are frightened.

In 2013, the United States will have been occupied, ruled and looted

Establishment floated talking points are latest effort to smear Paul’s campaign

When The mainstream media devotes coverage to Ron Paul at any length, you can take it to the bank that it is an attempt to smear Paul’s campaign. That is why the latest obsession with the theory that Paul and Romney have formed an alliance, almost certainly represents such an effort.

The notion that Paul has cut some form of deal, either for himself or for his son Rand, to be a part of a Romney led GOP ticket is now being heavily pushed by everyone from MSNBC to Rush Limbaugh – and it’s as if they are reading off the same script.

As former Ron Paul staffer Lew Rockwell told the Alex Jones show yesterday, it is becoming ever more clear that talk of a Paul/Romney alliance is part of the establishment’s latest effort to de-rail Paul’s presidential campaign, and paint him up as a sell out, as he continues to pick up armies of delegates under the radar.

MSNBC’s Morning Joe has been heavily covering the alliance theory, with Joe Scarborough seemingly convinced Paul has done a deal with Romney:

“The thing that went unspoken but everybody knows, and that is that Mitt Romney and Ron Paul have formed an alliance,” Scarborough said on Thursday’s Morning Joe.

“It is such an obvious alliance that Mitt Romney would do well to just come out and admit it. I don’t know what he’s promised Ron Paul. I don’t know if Ron Paul is hoping that his son gets in the administration. But let’s just be really honest here — for all people for Ron Paul to form an alliance with in the Republican Party, to pick out Mitt Romney is really bizarre.” Scarborough added, before his guests suggested that Ron Paul has been acting as Romney’s “attack dog” for a long time.

“I mean, he’s been throwing out daisy cutters, clearing the way for Mitt Romney all along.” said Daily Beast columnist Mark McKinnon. “And you know, it’s a wink and a nod and never any kind of spoken deals on these sorts of things, but it’s pretty clear what’s going on. And he’s been the fullback, blocking in front of Romney this whole time.”

Scarborough picked up the alliance conspiracy again on today’s Morning Joe, telling viewers “It certainly seems like a deal’s been struck, because he’s not only chopping Santorum up into little pieces in these debates, he did it in past debates against Newt and other front-runners, leaving Mitt completely out of it,”

Scarborough’s guest, Tim Pawlenty, now national co-chair for Romney’s campaign, denied that there was any deal. “I know Mitt and I know Ron Paul, I really don’t believe there’s any deal between [them]. Think about Ron Paul cutting a deal as an insider to get some political favors,” said Pawlenty. “Probably the last person to ‘cut a back room deal’ in American politics would be Ron Paul.”

MSNBC continued to push the conspiracy theory in later programming, with Andrea Mitchell probing Paul campaign Senior advisor Doug Wead. Mitchell again floated the taking point that Paul has attacked all the other contenders but has not attempted to go after Romney. Wead quickly shot down that notion by pointing out that Ron Paul has spent millions on advertising targeting Romney as an establishment flip flopper. Indeed, a Ron Paul moneybomb was specifically framed around combating Romney. Wead also flat denied that any deal had been struck between Paul and Romney.

The Washington Post continues to push the alliance notion, as it has been since the end of January, suggesting that Paul and Romney’s decision to skip a debate in Georgia was a joint one. While The Hill goes all out today with a vicious attack piece “calling out Ron Paul” as “Mitt Romney’s secret weapon”, his “attack poodle” and a “phony libertarian”.

Talk radio host, Mark Levin, who openly hates Ron Paul, quickly jumped on the bandwagon, again repeating the blatant lie that Paul has not gone after Mitt Romney during his campaign.

Even Rush Limbaugh has been floating the same talking point – a sure fire indicator that this is a scripted smear against Paul.

“Paul does not attack Romney. Ron Paul attacks every one of Romney’s opponents; Romney doesn’t attack Paul,” said Limbaugh, while claiming that he had believed a deal was made between the two over a month ago.

    Woodrow Wilson’s mother was born in England, but he got in. People never cared about that and they still don’t seem to care.

    I am an Agnostic and i make a point of respecting others religious views whatever they are and i stay out of the religious debates and arguments here usually but i dont see why i should take seriously a complete unknown plugging a religious .org website telling everyone that everything is set in stone.Three diffrenet people were given identical prophecies ? Who are they ?

I believe that it is accurate to call “mainstream media” “Wall Street media” which propgandizes from the Wall Street politically necessary theater of LEFT vs. RIGHT with its historical old world bias LEFT. To what extent do newspeople know that they are propagandizing the Wall Street point of view ? Unknown. The editing process steers the view away from Wall Street in any case. A February 20th veterans rally in Washington D.C. for Presidential candidate Ron Paul, initiated and hosted by activist and veteran Adam Kokesh, was completely ignored by the mainstream corporate controlled media yesterday in what can only be described as a total black-out.

This is not really news in light of the fact that this type of treatment of Ron Paul has been ongoing;

    1. his debate time has been limited and the questions either ‘stacked’ in favor of the other GOP contenders or irrelevant altogether to Ron Paul’s central issues (end illegal wars, end the Federal Reserve, abolish the IRS, restore the Constitution)
    2. his access to TV has been limited and when he is a guest of a show it appears more akin to a guerrilla ambush than an interview
    3. his character has been attacked in a corporate media smear campaign
    4. the GOP primary elections have been riddled with corruption and fraud

The rally included active duty soldiers as well, even though a leaked email from Joel A. Weger, Senior Attorney at the Office of the Assistant General Counsel in the Department of the Navy instructed:

“You may wish to advise your command regarding this particular event because of the apparent solicitation of active duty personnel”.

The column of soldiers, marching in formation and chanting phrases such as “End the Fed” and “President Paul”, came to a halt with backs turned to the White House in what is being described as a display of no confidence in the Obama administration.

A period of 8 minutes of silence, each second representing a veteran’s suicide, followed by a 21 minute prayer, where each second stood for a fallen soldier-all since Obama has taken office-were observed.

Despite a complete black-out by the American puppet-media, RT News and other alternative sources have done an excellent job of keeping Dr. Paul in the spotlight.

The resulting effect is that the illusion of a free press and fair elections is being dispelled right in front of the American public’s eyes.

If nothing else, Ron Paul and his supporters have forced the issue and revealed a system riddled with fraud and corruption. But will this revelation awaken enough Americans to overcome the same fraud and corruption that placed G.W. Bush and Baraq Obama in the White House? Only time will tell.

Ron Paul: robbed by mainstream media

Rick Santorum’s three-state victory sweep and recent surge ahead of frontrunner Mitt Romney in the GOP presidential nomination race may have been considered an “upset” to some, but those who know American politics are well aware that no surprise is too surprising during election season.

While livened debates and sensationalist newscasts make the general public believe that the American political process is a true sport, whose results are fated to the will of the voters and the merit of the candidates, seasoned politicians, veteran media pros and the rare few alternative news consumers aren’t fooled.

If you didn’t guess it, we’re talking about Ron Paul and the mainstream media.

The plays and the players of the GOP race were sized and measured long before voters even knew who would be on the field, and while the idea of bipartisanship fumbling is a notion many Americans hope for, political playmakers just won’t have it. The accidents, the tricks, the “upsets,” they might be entertaining, they might even be convincing, but they’ve never been authentic.

This is America after all; did we really think we’d ever see a true Flea Flicker on the political field?

From the very beginning of the GOP race, top networks have conveniently and creatively found ways to shield the Texas Congressman from substantial airtime, recognition at events and altogether general mention, despite his very real widespread appeal among voters.

From inaccuracies in rhetoric, like “the top tier” (which included Rick Perry, Mitt Romney and Michele Bachman, even though poll numbers reflected a clear and dominant Ron Paul presence as a front running contender) to simply leaving Paul’s name out of primary coverage, the media at large just doesn’t want us to think about Ron Paul.

A Real Clear Politics poll of Iowa voters’ preference for GOP nomination in December 2011 shows 22.3 percent in favor of Paul, above supposed “top tier” captain Mitt Romney, who received only 21 percent. And yet, coverage of the Iowa primary, like the majority of primaries, was soaked with “Romney this” and “Santorum that,” regardless of the fact that at the time, Santorum had garnished only 7.7 percent of voter favor.

In early September, The Daily Caller depicted a television graphic that read “Poll: Romney leads New Hampshire, Huntsman in third, Perry in fourth.” Now, I understand that us media folk chose communications degrees because we didn’t like math, but can’t somebody recognize the missing number here?

Hint: Ron Paul took second in the New Hampshire primary.

What type of a maddening system are we operating if political satirists like Jon Stewart are becoming our nation’s most trusted source for political analyses? Stewart in fact, has been the only voice of reason on the media stage, publicly and repeatedly calling out Paul’s lack of deserved attention.

So why haven’t the big networks shown Paul any love? Because he’s credible, consistent, and transparent. RING RING RING! OH NO! The third party alarm bell is sounding! Take cover! Hide the kids!

That’s right, Paul is the golden boy of a new and scary era for big wig media companies and the political machines they answer to—the non-two-party system. While he might be running as a Republican, Paul’s platforms and policies have often screamed Libertarian, and if given a fair voice like his competitors, third party politics would become that much closer to endangering Washington’s status-quo (which, I might mention, isn’t working).

The reality is, third party politics have never really stood a chance in the U.S.; Ralph Nader can run for president another five times and he’ll never gather much more than 5 percent. Just last year, Green Party Illinois Gubernatorial candidate Rich Whitney was snubbed off the ballot in one ward by an “accidental” misspelling of his name. Never mind him being the only candidate with a tangible, finalized and coherent budget plan, Rich “Whitey” represented a color that wasn’t red or blue.

Unless you’re so obnoxiously off base that you don’t pose a threat to the two-party status quo, legitimate third party contenders will always be conveniently silenced, and voters will suffer the most.

Alternative candidates like The Rent is Too Damn High party’s Jimmy McMillan will always get their turn at the stage, but beware when a no nonsense, refreshingly consistent congressmen from Texas threatens to bring change to the system that’s been dragging us down for years.

I’ve converted my wife, a staunch democrat. Yes, here in good ole’ Taxachusetts. She understands Obama isn’t the answer, and commented that “even if he means well (which I don’t agree with), he’s in way, over his head”.
Ron Paul on the other hand is the Yoda (Star Wars analogy) of politics. My wife hadn’t even heard of Ron Paul. No surprise, as mainstream media has heinously censored him. The media outlets should be scrutinized as long as they black RP out. Why? — Because the American people are “fed up” with their shenanigans; at least intelligent people can see right though it. Once you hear about Paul and his political stances, most people are converted. Case and point, I directed my wife to RP’s Website and a couple of independent media links, and now he has yet another vote. His grassroots endorsements are all we need, meaning, the self perpetuating votes from the general populous. The media is a big part of the problem with this country. I am shocked ABC even strung a petty 250 word story on RP when he announced cutting the budget by $1T –in the first year! It’s amazing that a journalist on their team was able to craft a 250 word piece about that. Certainly worthy of some “abridged” content after their editors hacked it down to bare bones. As bad as the media is the GOP’s bowdlerization of Paul — and their idolization of Romney (or any other bureaucratic imbecile on the ticket) is even worse.

                 We are seeing the beginning of the end of the Republican Establishment thanks to Congressmen Ron Paul candidacy and other libertarian minded people running for lower offices. How long can the establishment steal votes away from Ron Paul with impunity. How long can they support the three candidates Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney bucking the trend of the grassroots? How long will this charade of a staged this mudslinging match between Newt and Mitt go on ignoring the issues and Ron Paul?

                 The truth is the Republican establishment is walking on very shaky ground unaware how the ground has shifted underneath their feet. The other three candidates besides Ron Paul offer no solution to what plagues this nation. They want more wars and stealing our freedom. They have no interest in shrinking the size of goverment or cutting spending. The other neo con candidates have no plan to bring our troops home from bases overseas not even rethinking our foreign policy. The other candidates trying to co-opt Ron Paul talking points of this Texas Congressmen because Ron Paul is shifting the debate.

                We do not need no more counterfeit patriots or conservatives as our leaders.  Newt, Rick and Mitt will do all the same things Obama is doing, just in a different rhetoric.Stealing votes away from Ron Paul will not work for long. The fraud will be exposed stealing elections away from the people will boomerang back on the establishment. We do not need the mainstream media because we have the alternative citizen press to report the facts. We push hard enough exposing the election fraud, we will force the mainstream dinosaur press to cover it just to stay relevant and to maintain what little credibility they have left. They will throw the Republican establishment overboard for their own survival.

               2012 is a make or break year for freedom and our national survival. The Republican establishment is working overtime to keep Ron Paul off the Radar by not allowing him time to speak in the debates, Using Mitt and Newt’s phony feud of mudslinging of past dealings to distract us from the real issues Ron Paul is talking about and stealing elections.This will fizzle out and the candidates will have to start talking about things of substance that really will expose that all the other three candidates except Ron Paul espouse the very policies Obama has already implemented. The mudslinging between Mitt and Newt will get old like watching the Jerry Springer Show. When the hype is gone, reality will set in showing Mitt, Newt and Rick are more of the same will be obvious. They have nothing to offer, just gimmicks to get votes and no solutions.

              The beginning of the end of big goverment conservatives has started. Ron Paul‘s word will get out and resonate with the people. He is the only one with reals cuts in spending and stopping this insane costly foreign policy. He is the only one who will shut down the TSA and Homeland security that threatens our freedom and bring back honest sound money without a Federal Reserve Bank. He is the only one proposing abolishing the income tax instead of the others using class warfare in their tax plans.

               The Republican establishment ignores Ron Paul at their own peril. To ignore Ron Paul and not show any respect to him is suicide of the GOP. If he has no support. Then why is the other candidates trying to steal Ron Paul‘s talking points of the Federal Reserve and freedom. Ron Paul support is being suppressed by the Diebold Machines. They are trying to break the will of his support by stealing votes and ignoring him. Like a beach ball being pushed underwater. That ball will come to the surface no matter how much the person tries to keep it underwater. The ball will come to the top with great force. The same thing with Ron Paul and his supporters. The truth is both parties and the media establishment is trying to stave off a populist backlash coming.

               The Republican establishment is walking on thin ice using fake polls and pulling out all stop trying the break the will of the Ron Paul movement. Webster Tarpley is another political hack that has to be questioned by Alex Jones because he is saying the only way Ron Paul can win if he abandons his libertarian principles. Webster Tarpley is distorting Ron Paul message. Ron Paul is not going to destroy Social Security, Ron Paul wants to cut overseas spending of Military adventures, foreign aid,  close all the bases overseas and place it in social security and Medicare so the agencies can meet its commitments.

                Ron Paul is the only candidate that will beat Obama. The others will bare very little difference in policy and principle. These are times that try men’s souls. We must not be discouraged, we must not live in defeat. We must not allow the establishment to have their way. We cannot be idle anymore complaining about it. The Media and the political establishment is trying to break our will by suppressing Ron Paul or ignoring him. We are winning, it is time. It is a bluff when they tell Ron Paul to drop out because if he stay in, there will be blow back if he stay in the race. So let your heart not be troubled, the illusion is beginning to collapse. So do not feel discouraged we are winning. Victory is our if we want it bad more then they do. It is time to push back and no more be pushed around by these political hacks. Do you agree? Ron Paul, the candidate that the media loves to skip over, debase, and ridicule, has now proven he is the only viable candidate against Mitt Romney for the Republican nomination. For months now we Ron Paul supporters have had to listen to the media do things like announce a poll by saying, in first place is Mitt Romney, in third place is Newt Gingrich and so on down the line, totally ignoring whatever place Ron Paul actually got in their particular poll or how well he did in the debates. The media presstitutes have every excuse as to why they skip over Congressman Ron Paul when announcing a poll or debate, they say he is not electable or that although Ron Paul has a dedicated core following, that following will not grow.     Likewise, supporters of Jon Huntsman have owned up to creating a racist, anti-Huntsman ad’ meant to smear Ron Paul and his supporters as bigots and hate-mongers. A consulting firm hired by the Paul campaign came to the same conclusion after analyzing the video.
